Evening With the Enemy

Lily’s best friend is opening a matchmaking agency to set up all her friends, whether they like it or not.

As a dating columnist who sees relationships at their very worst,  Lily doesn’t believe in romance, let alone matchmaking. She only agrees to participate in the matchmaking program because her friend promises a lifetime of freedom from her meddling if she goes on just three dates with her “perfect match.” Except…her “perfect match” turns out to be her nemesis at the magazine, Oliver Sanders.

When Oliver’s editor gives him an assignment to join the new startup matchmaking agency, he tries to refuse. He doesn’t have time for romance and knows nothing about dating. But it’s take the assignment or find a job at another magazine. Faced with no other reasonable choice, he signs up to get matched and write about it.

They both have the same plan: get in and get out unscathed. Neither, however, is prepared for three dates that change them both. Just as the three dates come to an end, they realize they’re falling for each other, but once Oliver writes his article, one or both of their careers could come crashing to a disastrous end.
