New Book
Nick Parker was just drafted into the NHL—following in his father’s footsteps. Loralei Shaw is a sexy software engineer that came back home for a fresh start. They’re friends who haven’t seen each other since that night four years ago…
Nick Parker has played hockey for as long as he can remember. Everything he’s worked for pays off when he gets drafted to the Nashville Wolverines. His parents throw him a party—a celebration for all his accomplishments. It’s there that he comes face-to-face with Loralei Shaw. His long-time friend that he hasn’t seen or talked to since the day he left for college. And, man, has she changed.
Loralei Shaw returns home to Nashville after getting her degree. She’s offered an exciting new job and a fresh start away from her controlling ex-fiancé. Loralei has changed, physically and emotionally since she left Nashville to go to college. Everyone can see it.
When Nick and Loralei reconnect at his party, she can tell that he likes what he sees. Oh, how the tables have turned. She’s always had a huge crush on Nick, like all the rest of the girls. Now he’s the one pursuing her. Maybe she’d give him the time of day if he hadn’t left things the way he did four years ago—and broken her heart in the process.
With chemistry that’s impossible to ignore, and Nick doing all he can to break down the walls Loralei has up, could now be the right time for a second chance between them? Or will past hurts anoud a broken heart be too much to risk for Loralei?
Wes Jacobsen plays professional hockey for a living. Lydia Crow is a country music singer. They meet and have an instant attraction—but he’s twenty-three and she’s forty-two. Does age really matter in a relationship?
Lydia and Wes have a whirlwind romance that lasts six months, but she ends it abruptly—leaving Wes hurt and with unanswered questions.
Wes’s MO is to work hard on the ice and play harder off. That is until he meets Lydia, a beautiful woman who grounds him and fulfills him more than any bottle of beer or puck bunny could. It doesn’t take long for Wes’s feelings to develop for her.
Lydia wasn’t expecting to have a connection with a man twenty years younger than she is. And when they meet, both agree that a casual relationship is all it would ever be. Until it isn’t.
With the odds stacked against them, can a second chance be what they need to make it work this time, or will their differences pull them apart?

Swinging my hips to the music, I take another drink of my vodka tonic, close my eyes, and let the beat move me. I breathe and take in the scent of peppermint mixed with rain. It’s someone’s cologne. When a hand grasps my hip, I turn quickly to see gray eyes trained on mine. Putting my hand over his, we start dancing together. As if it’s automatic. The lines of his tall, strong body press against mine like no time has passed. Tingles travel from all points of contact and move right to my center. My heart rate speeds up and I can’t stop staring into his eyes. His expression is tight, intense, but his lips part. Reid’s face is still beautiful, but he’s changed. Standing before me now is a man, his jaw more angular, like his playful side has been taken over by seriousness and discipline. He’s alarmingly sexy.
His hands work their way down my lower back, ghosting the top of my ass. I move my fingers to the back of his neck, his skin smooth, the way I remember it. His mouth, so close to mine, is parted, inviting. I lick my lips, eager to familiarize myself with his taste again. Stop this, Mia. Reid puts one of his legs between mine, creating delicious friction on my core. My breathing becomes ragged. All of this feels dangerous, from his smell all around me, unhinging me.
I swallow hard and shift my gaze down. I haven’t been this turned on in years. When the song comes to a stop and a new one begins, I take a cautious step back. “Hi,” I say, my tone soft and guarded.
“Hello.” With Reid’s gaze so focused on me, the hair rises on my arms.
“I need a drink.” I turn to walk away and am surprised when I find he’s followed me and is now next to me at the bar.
“What are you drinking? Vodka?”
“Some things never change.” I shrug and shift my weight from one leg to the other. His nearness is throwing me off balance.
He nods.
“I didn’t know you were in New York. Last I heard, things were going great with your company.” He moved to California after college and started up a financial consulting firm. I heard through the grapevine that he was doing very well for himself, and last I knew he was in a relationship.
Reid downs a shot of something clear and hands me my drink. “I don’t want to talk tonight. I want to drink, dance, and then I want to fuck you…”

My new holiday read releases today! I really wanted to write a Christmas book last year, but didn’t give myself enough time. This year, the stars aligned and I was able to finish this book before New Years! I hope you enjoy Jack and Jillian’s story!
Christmas is not ruined. That’s what Jillian Harmon keeps trying to tell herself.
Sure, she might be losing her job along with her staff a few days before the holiday, but a drunken night with a sexy stranger with salt and pepper hair and mesmerizing hazel eyes is just what she needs to take her mind off her crappy luck.
Could things get any worse? When her new boss, Jack Morgan, strolls in Monday morning, Jillian is shocked to see it’s her new boss’s bed she shared Friday night. He hands out pink slips like they’re Christmas bonuses, but for reasons unknown to her, he doesn’t’ let her go.
Somehow, her staff expects Jillian to fix things, which is how she ends up crashing Jack’s solo Christmas in a mountain cabin. The storm is how she ends up snowed in with him, and she’s pretty sure, the alcohol is how he plans to bed her again.
She’d need a Christmas miracle and a twelve-step program to save her staff. As for being stuck with Jack, she’s not sure she can be saved.
